Key West Garden Club
This week we learned about Vanda orchids. Sharon Jones gave the presentation in front of the new orchid space. It has just the right amount of light and the blooms are stunning. These orchids are heat loving and are native to tropical Asia. They may bloom several times a year and must be kept moist but not soggy. To get blooms like this, they should be fertilized once a week with a 15-5-15 liquid fertilizer. We also attach fertilizer balls with time release granules.Image attachmentImage attachment
